Description
Buddha Grid 01 - Spiritual Collage
This is a mixed media artwork from our series featuring the Buddha. The image of the Buddha with half-closed eyes, traversing the inner skies and awakening to the realization of the self has been a symbol of balance, harmony and inner peace, inspiring hundreds of artists to create artistic masterpieces and property owners to adorn their spaces with this beautiful representation of man's journey towards realizing his higher self. This artwork is a collage, a grid with nine tiles, each representing one aspect of the Buddhist philosophy and Zen. There is the vitarka mudra, dhamma chakra, zen pebbles, enso and the lotus flower, amongst other Buddhist and Zen motifs. The Buddha is constantly reminding us to slow down and look inwards with one-pointed focus, to awaken ourselves to the ultimate goal - Nirvana, or the release from the cycle of birth and death. Buddha as a subject for creative expression has always been upheld by interior designers and architects because of the air of balance that it provides. Buddha paintings transform a space into a serene sanctuary with a refinement and subtlety that very few other subjects are capable of. Simple, yet deep and sophisticated at the same time, this Buddha artwork speaks a lot about the people that dwell in the space that it graces. This can also be a great conversation starter and spiritual artworks such as these are highly recommended in the energy practice of Feng Shui. The peace, tranquility and serenity that the meditative form of the Buddha evokes makes this artwork a perfect wall decor choice not only for residential interiors but also for Yoga studios, Health & Wellness studios, Spa and office spaces too. This artwork can also be paired with more pieces from the collection.
